Big Top Services, Inc Field Technician in Perry, Florida
The Field technician travels to installation sites across the United States. They are responsible for operating with a team to complete various types of fabric structure projects. This includes but is not limited to, installations, relocations and warranty repair work. It is a position for personnel to travel and oversee the installations of Big Top Services, Inc. (BTS) products. The Field Technician reports to the Team Lead.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to take instruction to complete applicable project
- Ability to implement instruction to complete project on-time and within budget
- Ability to operate heavy equipment in support of project requirements
- Ability to manage care and use of tools and equipment during a job.
- Job involves much public contact
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to operate forklift and other heavy equipment and obtain certification within three months of hire.
- Basic understanding of hand tools and how to properly use them.
- Ability to read a tape measure to the 1/16".
- Proficient in math, both decimal and inch calculations.
- Ability to read blueprints is a plus
- Ability to follow company safety procedures and processes.
- Ability to obtain OSHA Certification within 90 days of hire
- Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to accurately exchange information with co-workers and management.
- Heavy lifting (50lbs) is required on a regular basis.
- Must be able to traverse facilities and machinery by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials.
- Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools and machinery, and performing repetitive actions.
- Manual dexterity to evaluate, modify and operate machinery and equipment.
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts and workmanship.
- Temperature of work environment ranges from 15 - 110F., primarily outdoor exposure
- Must be able to travel to job locations via plane or motor vehicle across the US

- This position is subject to drug screening, background checks and a motor vehicle report must be submitted.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Work Experience:
Construction experience preferred
