Job Description
As a Senior Mechatronics and Robotics Technician, you will support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. Serving in a lead technician capacity, you will mentor other technicians. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, and be the expert in troubleshooting and diagnostics.
Responsibilities
Repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems.
Support and mentor other technicians.
Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
Perform quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
Troubleshoot and diagnose MHE systems.
Adhere to MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and Safety standards.
Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for maintenance tasks.
Essential Skills
High school or equivalent diploma.
1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
4+ years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
4+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems and controls.
4+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
4+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.
3+ years of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems.
4+ years of experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and Safety standards.
3+ years of experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Work Environment
Candidates need to be comfortable with their performance being tracked by data and numbers. The role is within a large distribution facility with high-speed automation equipment, mostly with robotic components. Candidates must be okay with walking 10,000 steps per day. Shift: All candidates must be open to any 10-hour shift as positions are available for all shifts.
