Aston Carter Logistics Specialist in Peoria, Illinois

Job Description

Responsibilities include receiving, analyzing, and assigning claims from distributors and customers regarding ship in error claims and other types of return requests. You will follow up on authorizations and maintain constant communication with distributors. Process all distributor parts return authorizations and ensure the system issues the proper credit upon receipt. Administer all aspects of the return program for all Parts Operations. Responsible for the yearly cycle count program, providing count lists for the daily cycle counts for the Warehouse. Review and analyze stock records for accuracy and process inventory adjustments from multiple inputs including cycle count, verifications, and final adjustments to correct inventory. Keep track of the cycle count and adjustments for audit purposes and inventory accuracy. Receive Inventory Adjustment requests, evaluate and process the adjustments according to internal and external policies. Maintain documentation to support actions and processes, and resolve mismatches between the Warehouse’s systems by reviewing transactions.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Peoria, Illinois.

Work Environment

Office space on the warehouse floor, working with the warehouse managers to review items/documentation. Training will be provided by the current consultant in the role. Work hours are 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
