Summary About the Position: This position is in the Office of the Administrative Assistant to the Secretary of the Army, Army Space and Facilities Management Directorate. The Directorate coordinates a myriad of tenant planning, analysis and support requirements across 2.5 million square feet of administrative space occupied by Department of the Army (DA) tenants in government leased or owned buildings and Army installations throughout the National Capital Region. Responsibilities Coordinates a myriad of tenant planning, analysis and support requirements across 2.5 million square feet of administrative space occupied by Department of the Army (DA) tenants. Negotiates changes in requirements with key agency personnel regarding space and facilities management. Manages all aspects of assigned projects including requirements development, budget information, scheduling, stakeholder integration and customer concern reconciliation. Communicates progress and impacts to customers, management and other DA and Department of Defense (DOD) officials regarding various projects. Serves as an Advisor to project/technical personnel in contract planning and administration process. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Utilizing advanced analytical and evaluative methods to ensure project execution integration; 2) Utilizing budgetary and financial management principles related to long range planning; 3) Utilizing qualitative and quantitative methods to improve program effectiveness. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
