HQDA Field Operating Agencies and Staff Support Agencies Management and Program Analyst (International Engagement) in Pentagon, Virginia

Summary About the Position: Serve as a Management and Program Analyst (International Engagement) in the Strategy and Policy Division of the US Army Joint Counter small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) Office (JCO). Responsibilities Provide subject matter expertise on international political-military (pol/mil) developments, regional interrelationships, and the security cooperation (SC) activities. Analyze and distill complex issues into concise, yet coherent and persuasive, informational products, to facilitate timely general officer/executive-level decision making. Develop strategy and intelligence assessments for managed countries depending on priorities, level of activity, and workload. Provides subject matter expertise during weekly battle rhythm events such as working groups, operational planning teams, boards, and video tele-conferences (VTCs) Synchronize national strategic planning guidance. Conduct mastery peer review and analysis of all completed projects for technical quality, appropriate levels of coordination, consistency, logic, soundness of recommendations, and compliance with established objectives. Establish and maintain liaison with other divisions and works closely with their representatives to capture proper requirements definitions. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing detailed informational packages; providing advisory services on international affairs, political/military relationships; planning and managing security cooperation activities with security forces of foreign countries. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: External Awareness Public Safety and Security Written Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13). Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
