The < Quality Engineer Team Leader > for Cytiva is responsible for the Membrane Downstream Technology scope. You will lead a team of Quality Engineers associates as they work to eliminate product quality defects. Your team leadership will be focused on leading quality investigation, keeping oversight of quality complaints (internal and external) and managing the metrics and KPI (Q OBEYA) related to this. The Quality Engineer Team Leader maintains the overview of the validated state of products, processes, methods and is closely engaged in R&D projects towards introduction of new products.

This position is part of the Quality Assurance Department located in Pensacola, Florida> and will be on-site, At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Monitor and improve quality of manufacturing processes

  • Support problem solving using continuous improvement tools – RCAs, fishbone, and 5S.

  • Lead and implement an effective operations management within your team that drives adherence to Cytiva and regulatory requirements, ensures timely execution of work, and creates continuous team development and process refinement….live DBS

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support expansion, risk mitigation and productivity while ensuring product quality.

  • Nurture and sustain a team environment of inclusiveness, diversity and associate development

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 8 years of quality related work experience

  • Knowledge of quality management work streams including qualification, auditing, change management, NC/ CAPA/SCAR, QMS development and training program development.

  • Ability to develop, communicate and implement a strategy to ensure compliance to regulatory and industry requirements.

  • Effective problem solving, root-cause analytical skills to lead and influence others to drive change (cross-functionally and globally).

  • Proficient with Manufacturing software - Minitab, and Microsoft Applications

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 13485

  • Experience using Six Sigma tools or holding ASQ or Six Sigma certifications.

  • Knowledge of Veeva QMS and Magic systems.

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is . This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
