What you'll do

The warehouse consists of 3 functions or areas including: Shipping, Receiving, & Bulk Materials Warehouse. The Materials Coordinator II is fully trained in two of the three warehouse functions. This is an industrial warehouse position in which inventory products, resins, bulk chemicals and miscellaneous materials are received and issued to support the needs of internal departments within the facility.

Essential Job Functions

• Heavy use of computer systems to complete daily tasks – knowledge of all office applications ie email, teams etc, and SAP.

• Ability to operate/train and maintain certification to operate on forklifts, waves, electric jacks, hand jacks and drum dollies etc.

• Receives all incoming raw goods by end of day. Additionally receiving small package deliveries to be sorted and delivered via cart to various departments.

• All incoming receipts will be inspected for damage and accuracy and received in the SAP system

• All production product located within the plant will be checked for accuracy, located within the warehouse and appropriate location assigned using SAP

• Internal supplies requests to be pulled and issued to the requesting department following the time deadlines daily

• Cycle counts and recounts monthly in specific locations as assigned by the group lead or supervisor

• Ship orders as assigned using the correct method of packing and carrier ensuring we are following all USA and International Customs laws

• Daily housekeeping of the area

• Daily lifting, walking, bending, standing

• Additional duties as assigned by your group lead, warehouse supervisor or supply chain manager

• Prioritize safety above all

  Who you are

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

• Utilize computer and computer systems (i.e., windows, ERP, overnight shipping software).

• Read and understand written material in a variety of manuals.

• Perform basic mathematical computations (i.e. formula conversions) with or without a calculator.

• Communicate effectively with all levels of personnel within Pall and external suppliers.

• Prioritize job tasks to achieve daily work plan and any unforeseen issues.

• Perform physical activities such as lifting (up to 50 lbs), pulling, pushing of packages, material and drums (up to 700 lb.), manually or with assistance of material handling equipment (i.e., dollies, ladders, forklift and push carts.)

• Ability to stand, bend, climb and move across distances (up to 200 yards) with or without reasonable accommodations for prolonged periods of time (i.e., up to 8 hr.).

• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

• Demonstrate ability of hand-eye coordination to use warehouse equipment (forklift) and machinery (shrink wrap equipment).

• Ability to pass a written and driving tests for a forklift license.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision while performing a variety of tasks.
