As a Systems Installation Engineer– you will report to the Deployment Manager. On a given day, you may: Perform system installation of autonomous vehicles and peripheral equipment (chargers, I/O panels, operator interfaces). Install, testing and debugging of the system. Travel (60-75%of the time) domestically and internationally to customer sites Modify equipment and software. Troubleshoot, defining and looking for resources to recognize and resolve electrical, mechanical and software improvement opportunities with system components. Make software and hardware adjustments. Monitor system performance metrics. Perform customer training. Work with customers. Collaborate with other engineers on projects.Requirements for the role BS or BSET in Engineering - disciplines of engineering includes Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechatronic, etc. Minimum 2+ years of full-time engineering work experience. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Prior software experience required (C, C++, MATLAB preferred). Experience with Python and Visual Basic. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Proficiency in CAD required (AutoCAD preferred). Must live within an Hour of An airport-preference is for candidates to reside in the Southeast region Valid driver's license required. Travel & Location This position is remote, and we ask that you travel approximately 70% of the time.
