Reporting to the Health and Safety Director, you will manage the Health, Safety, and Environmental program at 2 JBT sites in North America. You will identify hazards associated within production, maintenance, and field service activities. You will develop and implement risk mitigation procedures, following best practices, to promote a zero-accident culture. On a given day, you may: Work with site personnel to maintain safety programs. Maintain standard safety and environmental supplies. Provide training on EHS procedures. Perform risk assessments of shop floor and field service activities. Develop accident prevention and loss control procedures. Ensure compliance with Federal, State, Local, and corporate requirements relating to training, recordkeeping, permits, reports, and procedures. Coordinate inspections of facilities to detect existing or potential accident, fire, and health hazards. Recommend corrective actions. Manage hazardous waste disposal, tracking, and reporting. Direct security management to ensure employee safety and protection of company property. Manage (Workers' Comp) and industrial hygiene activities. Investigate accidents and injuries. Prepare legally required reports for use in hearings, lawsuits, and insurance investigations Attend hearings Support safety and environmental audits. May serve as the liaison with local fire departments, area hospitals, and other agencies regarding employee safety and health. Requirements for the role Bachelor's degree preferred in Industrial Engineering or Heath, Safety, and Environmental Management . 3 years' experience in an HSE position within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of regulations (OSHA, EPA) Experience implementing industrial safety standards. Experience with ERP, systems, and data skills to use HSE systems for documentation/reporting Must have a valid Driver's License. Travel: 50% of your time would be in office at the Kingston, NY location and the other 50% would be in office at the Chalfont, PA site.
