You will play a crucial role in maintaining order at the 24-acre facility in Harrisburg during the Pennsylvania Farm Show. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Security Officer 1, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and security of the facility, employees, visitors, contractors, property, and assets. You will be required to conduct daily patrols both inside and outside the premises, as well as directing traffic, collecting parking fees, greeting and assisting visitors, and patrolling the Complex and parking areas during the busy show season. This role demands a high level of professionalism, excellent customer service skills, conflict resolution abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. It is crucial to adhere to safety and security policies and procedures, handle difficult situations, and make prompt and effective decisions. Effective communication with leadership, coworkers, clients, and visitors is essential, and a timely response to emergency situations is of utmost importance.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
This is temporary part-time employment, without benefits
Shifts and hours vary based on operational needs
Weekends and holidays may be required
This position is considered essential and as such is required to report to working during emergencies and office closings.
