DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As an Administrative Officer 1, you will be required to adhere to strict time restrictions to maintain efficient operations. Work includes contacting, scheduling, and providing directions for witnesses for two consecutive live evening drawings, as well as preparing applicable letters, certificates, and related witness documents. You will also be responsible for preparing an accurate monthly witness schedule for distribution to the Drawing Officials for their use in greeting public witnesses at the evening drawings and accounting for their "thank you" packets. You will have the opportunity to assist in the transportation of all drawing equipment to and from any special event sites (such as the PA Farm Show) and back to the secured storage area. In addition to normal working hours, you must be prepared to become the emergency Lottery Drawing Official. This entails conducting day or live evening televised drawings in the event that another drawing official becomes ill, is otherwise unable to officiate, or something unusual occurs which would mandate activating the emergency Lottery Drawing Official.
