Food Bank of South Jersey Temporary Summer Meals Associate in Pennsauken, New Jersey

Reports to: Senior Manager, Direct Service Programs
Overview
Assist in implementation and daily operation of the Food Bank of South Jersey’s Summer Meals programs, as well as growth and coordination of Summer Meals Program Sites including site monitoring, training, and compliance. (2 positions offered).
This is a full-time, in-person, temporary position beginning June 17 through August 30, 2024. The pay rate is $20/hr. Workdays are Monday – Friday, approximate hours 8AM – 4PM. Unpaid time-off requests evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Specific Responsibilities
Assist Program admin team with site communications and document management
Conduct pre-op site visits (materials delivery, etc.)
Conduct weekly follow-up with sites regarding reporting, program/site updates, and issues arising
Ongoing site visits as needed
Assist with submitting order changes
Maintain site notes
Monitor Summer Meals sites to ensure compliance with food safety and meal reporting requirements
Follow up on corrective actions from monitoring visits
Assist with pick-up hubs and deliveries to sites as needed
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and 2 years of driving experience
Customer service skills
Strong time management skills
Microsoft suite skills
Spanish language skills a plus
