U.S. Pacific Fleet, Commander in Chief FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii

Summary You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the OPTAR and Special Accounts Department at COMMANDER US PACIFIC FLEET. Responsibilities You will work closely with the Acquisition and Cross Servicing Agreement (ACSA) Program Manager to provide financial management subject matter expertise and guidance on ACSA transactions. You will assist staff directorates and subordinate commands on ACSA, ACSA and Global Automated Tracking and Reporting Systems (AGATRS) and financial management policies and regulations. You will input transactions into financial systems once signed ACSA order has been received. You will conduct financial review of all ACSA transactions to ensure accuracy, existence, completeness, classification, and compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and laws. You will serve as a liaison between Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS) and the ACSA Program Manager and subordinate commands when a financial point of contact is not appointed. You will analyze resource management control procedures to recommend and/or implement process improvements. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector reviewing financial transactions to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies and laws, providing financial management expertise, leadership, and technical advice, and making recommendations on improving the effectiveness and efficiency of financial operations.
