Aerotek Laborer in Pawcatuck, Connecticut

Description:

Aerotek is looking for General Laborers in the Pawcatuck area for an immediate job opportunity. This company manufactures various steel coil products, and these laborers will be assisting with the daily production of these materials.

Tasks may include:

  • Stacking coils on skids coming off the packaging line

  • Banding coils to skids and process shipping tags

  • Scanning and locating finished goods into staging locations

  • Entering data in the system

  • Moving ready product into/out of trucks

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or a related field

  • Forklift experience is preferred but not required

  • Ability/willingness to cross-train

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to move around on your feet throughout the day
