Job Description: We are currently seeking a Computer Systems Analyst. This Computer Systems Analyst is to support a position within the PMA-261 CH-53 Program Office, which is fast-paced and demands a high degree of professionalism, and drive. The Computer Systems Analyst is responsible for handling day to day IT issues, Video teleconferencing setup and coordinating NMCI related actions within their designated Competency/PMA to include Ordering, Data Accuracy, Delivery Completeness Reporting, Customer Assistance, MAC (Move, Add, Change) Implementation, Seat Management, and Customer Satisfaction. It is the duty of the POC serve as the liaison between the NMCI contractor, NAVAIR CTR staff, and the end user within the Competency/PMA.

Functional Description: Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations. May analyze or recommend commercially available software.

Duties: Specific duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Placing NMCI help desk calls for the PMA end user, following through to ensure the end user issue resolution.

  • Assist in resolving end users IT hardware and software issues (independently or through the NMCI Help Desk)

  • Creating and maintaining employee seat order data within the NET (Navy Enterprise Tool) including creating/updating user profiles, ordering requirements, transferring and terminating seat orders, and submitting MAC as needed

  • Coordinating new seating requirements through the IT Storefront

  • Establish and maintain an asset inventory metrics for the program office

  • Maintaining a working knowledge of proper NET procedures through attendance of training sessions and communication with NAVAIR Customer Technical Representative (CTR) Staff members.

  • Creating and maintaining customer relations ensuring the POC is aware of their customer base and the customers are aware of whom their NMCI POC is.

  • Establishing and maintaining effective communication with other NMCI POCs especially as employees move throughout the organization.

  • Familiarization with the NAVAIR NMCI Portal and NMCI Websites.

  • Familiarization with the NAVAIR NMCI CTR Team Charter.

  • Working with Competency/PMA Manager, Financial Approver, and site CTR Team in additional to following NMCI business rules and other guidance/directives provided by the NAVAIR CTR to ensure seat orders are cost effective and accurate. (*Note: this includes the Level 1 Approval process.)

  • Responding to data calls in accordance with specific directions provided.

  • Coordinate and manage Tech Refresh Cycles for program office users.

    Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree plus three to ten years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category, minimum (1) year supporting NAVAIR specific programs. OR Associate’s Degree plus (10) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category, minimum (5) years supporting NAVAIR specific programs. OR Over (10) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category, minimum (8) years supporting NAVAIR specific programs.

    Experience Required: Over ten years of combined experience performing duties described in the functional description with at least three of those years operating in the NMCI environment.

    Desired Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Teams)

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and with other team members.

  • Good customer service skills and the ability to follow through to resolve IT related issues.

    Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
