Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Mechanical drafter to join our client's team in Pax River, Maryland. This person will prepare diagrams, drawings, and models of mechanical devices and parts. This person will work in Computer Aided Design (CAD) and have the ability to perform computations using formulas. They will need to work off of sketches, and models provided by an engineer to determine the information needed to complete assignments. This position will pay between $75,000 and $81,000 a year depending upon experience.

Skills and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent plus successful completion of trade or technical school, or undergraduate or military school course in drafting, mechanical drawing, or engineering drawing.

• Local to Pax River or willing to Relocate

• Active Secret Clearance

• A minimum of 6 years' experience

• Experience with aircraft structures

• Experience with Creo software

• Experience creating 2D drawings - NAV Air experience

• Experience modifying aircraft structures null
