Job Location: Pascagoula, MS Job Title: Welder
Pipe welder is responsible for performing pipe welding procedures on various metals utilizing Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) also known as Tungsten Inert Gas Welding (TIG). Pipe welders will be required to work either day or night (various shifts) dependant upon the number of ships under construction at any given time. Shipyard Production areas involve working at different heights, cinfined spaces, all weathher conditions. Ingalls stresses the practice of working safely in all situations. This is a full time position of 40 hours per week.
