This is a Senior Project Engineer position with a company located in Pascagoula, MS.
Job Summary: The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for coordinating and scheduling the engineering aspects of assigned projects across various disciplines, such as mechanical, piping, electrical, and naval architecture. The role involves initializing, organizing, and monitoring engineering projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and technical requirements.
Duties: Oversees the engineering aspects of projects, ensuring integration across multiple disciplines. Develops and controls project timelines and budgets, ensuring timely completion within financial constraints. Ensures compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. Works with engineering managers and leads to integrate project activities and technical deliverables. Provides technical support to business development, estimating, and on-site support teams. Acts as the main engineering liaison for customers, Program Management Office, Production, Purchasing, Outside Design Agents, and Regulatory Authorities. Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, addressing project challenges effectively.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in electrical (electronic) engineering or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in C5, including design development, analysis, and integration of C4 and Cyber systems for US Government programs. Alternatively, 12 years of C5 working experience with at least 2 years in project management.
