This is a Job Description for a Senior Elec Engineer in Pascagoula, Mississippi
Summary: The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, planning, manufacturing, constructing, and installing electrical or electronic components and systems. This position ensures compliance with regulatory standards related to electrical installations and supervisors or directs the work of drafters and designers. The Senior Electrical Engineer reports directly to the Electrical Engineering Lead.
Duties & Responsibilities: Execute engineering assignments associated with electrical design to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Supervise and guide drafters and/or designers involved in electrical design.
Review and verify the accuracy of designs.
Maintain documentation and data related to electrical designs.
Prepare and respond to inquiries and reports for regulatory agencies.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure design compatibility. Attend and provide support during meetings with the USCG. Communicate effectively with Program Engineers, Procurement Specialists, Design Engineers, and Production Personnel to meet project schedules and requirements.
Ensure progress on assigned functional work. Collaborate with MCS/ACS personnel within the government.

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience resulting in the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is preferred.
Extensive experience in electrical engineering, shipbuilding, and production processes.
Level A: 8+ years of experience.
