Job Title: Wastewater Treatment Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Plant Operator for an operations project in Houston, TX. The Plant Operator performs a wide range of mid-complex to complex tasks, encompassing field assignments based on client requirements. Responsibilities include performing daily operations and maintenance of the treatment plant, completing minor routine maintenance of equipment, demonstrating good interpersonal skills, applying a working knowledge of fundamental principles, terminology, and methodology in carrying out assignments, and adhering to standard policies and procedures within the specific discipline. The role also involves operating facilities with computer or PLC controls, monitoring, regulating, and adjusting process equipment, collecting samples, performing routine in-lab tests, maintaining logs of activities and related records, and ensuring compliance with permit requirements. Additionally, the operator will handle equipment such as forklifts, aerial or scissor lifts, generators, compressors, and pumps, while actively participating in creating a safety culture at the jobsite.
