Indorama Ventures – Intermediate Chemicals is currently looking for a dynamic individual to work as an Internal Logistics Supervisor at our Pasadena, TX location. In this role, you will coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within and/or between functions at the Pasadena facility. Direct and support Logistics department staff, including performance, and coordination of manpower within daily activities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to receiving and shipping activities, as well as product packaging and sample shipping requirements for the site. Support the maintenance of accurate inventory levels.

What will be expected from you?

• Examine documents, materials or products, and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.

• Communicate supplier concerns with site personnel to investigate customer concerns related to the logistics function.

• Review documents, such as logistics and production schedules, work orders, or staffing to determine personnel or materials requirements or material priorities.

• Monitor overtime and demurrage including movements to mitigate demurrage.

• Manage and optimize all process under your responsibility taking into consideration Quality, Legality and Food Safety (if applicable) and client needs on Oxiteno’s products and services.

• Guarantee all documentation under your responsibility is updated and available for consulting.

• Confer with Production Supervisors or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes.

What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?

• High School diploma, or equivalent.

• 5+ years’ experience in logistics job functions.

• Warehousing functions / inventory control experience.

• Supervisory experience a plus.

• Background in Chemical Manufacturing Environment.
