Job Summary

Langan is seeking a Legal Intern to join its collaborative team at its headquarters in Parsippany, NJ. This individual will directly assist Langan’s Legal Team and serve a key role in helping with a broad range of legal, risk, contracting, and compliance matters. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be involved in a diverse array of firm-wide legal needs in an environment that offers the progressive challenges of an ever-changing landscape.

Job Responsibilities

  • Review professional services agreements and other commercial contracts;

  • Support the Legal Team with claims and litigation;

  • Update claims and litigation reports;

  • Assist with the management of subpoenas received by the firm; and

  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Student currently pursuing a Juris Doctor degree;

  • Undergraduate engineering or construction management degree preferred;

  • Exceptional organization and prioritization skills;

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment;

  • Excellent interpersonal skills;

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities; and

  • Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
