Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Instructional Design Manager for one of our large hospitality clients in North Jersey. This resource will join the Global L&D group and report to the Director of Instructional Design. Their main goal is to provide instructional design (creation/development, maintenance, and enhancements) to both existing and new content when needed in terms of training solutions, material development/creation, making sure all training deliverables are instructionally sound, and following consistency within deliverables for the multiple audiences. About 65% of their responsibilities will be day-to-day Instructional Design support and 35% of their day will be be project management and team oversight. They will be working with a variety of forms including scripts, storyboards, e-learning, virtual classroom, etc. They will work with the subject matter experts (SMEs) and facilitators to discuss content and goals to complete each project. This person must be proficient in the Microsoft Applications, specifically PowerPoint, and must have some knowledge with systems such as Adobe and Captivate as well. This ideal candidate will have minimums 6-8 years experience designing/creating trainings or modules and would have great social and - communication skills. This person will eventually take on the role of a people manager and should be interested in career growth and development.

Bachelor's Degree

6 years of experience in Instructional Design

Experience designing training/e-learning modules and PowerPoints

Excellent written skills

Experience with Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite, and Vyond

Project Management experience People management/supervisory experience

Hospitality experience

L&D experience

Vendor management experience
