We are seeking a Program Manager to establish and lead our System Integrator (SI) program for ADP Lyric HCM, driving strategic partnerships to support sales growth and implementation delivery. This role will develop and execute program strategies, manage key SI relationships and collaborate closely with Sales, Implementation, Strategy, and Lyric HCM business owners to align initiatives with business goals.

In this role, you will be:

  • Defining program objectives

  • Planning, scheduling and influencing the cross-functional and cross-BU activities

  • Ensuring that project deliverables are provided on time, within budget and in accordance to specification.

  • Building and maintaining productive working relationships between all organizations with various levels of associates and executives

  • Defining program metrics and measuring program success

  • Reporting project outcomes, milestones, risks, and concerns to the senior executives

What you’ll do: Responsibilities

  • Follows Program Management disciplines in the following areas: Scope Management, Schedule Management, Cost Management, Issue Management, Risk Management, Quality Management, Human Resource Management, Communication Management and Contract Management.

  • Establishes project structure and staffing plans : participates in staffing process, which may include selection of personnel from third party vendors.

  • Establishes, manages and publishes a comprehensive overall project plan , including the development schedule, resource requirements and integration efforts of third-party products.

  • Motivates and directs the project team; sets goals, objectives and priorities; assigns and reviews project tasks and performance on a regular basis, benchmarking against key milestone deliverables. May be asked to provide input into the performance reviews of team members. Approves additions and deletions to staff over the life of the project.

  • Obtains approvals on Program: scope changes, escalating critical path issues and resolving team resource conflicts.

  • Establishes comprehensive cross functional written and verbal communications: evaluating Program tasks, milestones, dependencies, issues and escalations. This includes program meetings, minutes, executive briefings and issue management tracking. Collaborates with cross functional Product and Project Managers on all Program management deliverables.

  • Primary interface with the project sponsor(s), Product Manager and primary interface to subcontractors supplying either product or service.

  • Ensures quality reviews are held with the project team and obtains sign off on status and requirements.

  • Project schedule: accountable for meeting schedule, results, client satisfaction and the quality of the deliverables.

  • Responsible for determining success criteria of overall project. This includes gathering information of client feedback, project team feedback and senior management direction.

  • Manages the overall program budget. Coordinates requests for incremental funding if deemed necessary.

What you’ll need:

  • Problem solving skills: Ability to break problems down into smaller parts, find solutions, and determine impact to business.

  • Understand patterns between people, process, technology, data, and products and articulate how they all fit together (big picture)

  • Core analytical skillset: Ability to identify which analyses need to be done to answer questions, manipulate data sets (comfort with MS Excel required), and build models, as needed to answer complex questions

  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills: Possess strong communication (written / verbal) and interpersonal skills to communicate recommendations and impact with everyone from associate to Senior Leaders

  • Write strategic communications related to the projects you are working on to convey clear and easy to understand messages to stakeholders (associate – leader)

  • Business & org change / transformation skills: Ability to develop a strategy / plan to build actionable steps and deliverables to deliver value to the business within a set timeline:

  • Experience in managing large scale transformation efforts

  • Develop and conduct stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments (people, process, technology), communications, training needs analysis, change measurement and adoption tracking (KPIs) + Dashboards, surveys (as needed)

  • Experience in business analysis and creating reports and presentations for senior leaders focused on telling the story

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements:

  • 12 years of experience in project and process management in highly matrixed

  • Experience in managing large project teams of 10-20 associates cross functionally

  • Ability to translate information into visually dynamic and appealing presentations through PowerPoint or other similar tools

A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. Other acceptable experiences could include:

  • Experience noted above, OR

  • Military experience where skills including teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success.

Bonus points for these: Preferred Qualification:

  • MBA or other advanced degree

  • PMP or equivalent Professional Project Management certification

  • Vendor onboarding management

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain highly complex, leveled and balanced Project Plans using Microsoft Project, or other comparable Project Management tools

  • Program management experience

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of products, service, implementation, technical, training, financial and sales organizational operations

  • Ability to work effectively with aggressive, demanding clients and project teams

  • Work wells under pressure and has a high tolerance for stress

  • Organizational and time management skills for managing multiple, diverse and conflicting projects

  • Possess excellent communication, presentation, facilitation and team leadership skills with ability to effectively communicate with executive level managers in a project-oriented setting where project risk is substantial and communication requirements are highly complex.

  • Ability to build effective teams in a project-oriented setting where the team is large, geographically dispersed, and may have conflicting priorities and/or goals.

  • Experience and understanding of voice of the client / customer insight tools and methodologies is desirable
