ADP Director, Data Risk Management / Business Systems Analysis in Parsippany, New Jersey

ADP is hiring a Director of Business Systems Analysis (Data Risk Management)

In this position, you will hold a pivotal role in designing and overseeing robust control structures including standards, guidelines and frameworks to ensure the safe use of data across ADP. This position requires a unique blend of technical aptitude, ethical awareness, and big-picture thinking, to effectively drive ADP data protection initiatives forward. You will reach out to and converse with diverse teams of internal clients across ADP to define processes that simultaneously support both the advancement of data democratization and the protection of data across the enterprise. You’ll work closely with ADP privacy, legal, security, compliance, infrastructure, enterprise data governance, and more to build the policies and best practices needed to succeed.

Whether you’re in meetings with our business leaders, product teams, legal, privacy, infrastructure, or security, you’ll be a guiding voice to help create the appropriate processes and oversight of ADP data. You stay close to data security trends, risk assessment and mitigation strategies, data protection regulations, and bring new ideas into the mix.

You’ve worked with governance teams and understand the foundations and importance of a strong data security posture. You communicate policies and guidelines to key stakeholders and the business. With your unique perspective, your voice will guide the project to success all while safeguarding our data.   • Experience in data governance, data risk management, or a related role in technology, data security, or information security.

  • Familiarity with potential data related regulations (ex: GDPR) and their implications for use.

  • Proven record of effectively leading successful initiatives. Ability to develop and communicate a clear strategic vision for data protection and governance aligned with business goals.

  • You have strong communications skills and are able to convey complex data and information security/governance concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • You thrive in complex situations because you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions

  • You possess an ability to drive change and influence stakeholders to adopt data governance best practices

  • Proficiency and proven ability to move projects forward to success
