Description We are looking for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our team in the food and food processing industry in Parsippany, New Jersey. The role involves managing and resolving various challenges related to employee compensation and benefits, including 401K audits, open enrollment processes, and new hire orientation. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting annual 401K audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance

• Contribute to the open enrollment process, including system setup and employee guidance

• Utilize and navigate various benefits administration systems, with a preference for familiarity with UKG

• Understand and apply knowledge of health, welfare, and 401(k) plans in resolving benefit inquiries

• Monitor and troubleshoot vendor sites, review edit errors, and ensure plan funding for 401(k) and HSA plans

• Respond to and resolve employee benefit inquiries promptly and accurately

• Oversee and manage any benefit arrears

• Utilize strong Excel skills to run reports and execute data comparisons for effective benefits administration

• Participate in new hire orientation, including preparation and delivery of presentations

• Understand and apply benefits-related terminology, such as stop-loss, in daily work. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Food & Food Processing industry

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Familiarity with Ceridian and Cisco Webex Meetings software

• Experience with CRM systems

• Strong auditing skills

• Comprehensive understanding of Benefit Functions and Claim Administration

• Experience with Cobra Administration

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred

• Must have legal right to work in the location of the job
