Who you are As a real estate sales professional focused on the industrial sector, you will collaborate on the daily operation of the team's business, expanding your knowledge in all aspects of industrial commercial leasing, marketing, and sales - not to mention a unique combination of financial, research and social media skills. Ultimately, you bring a passion for real estate, strong intellectual capabilities, and demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. What you bring 1+ years of relevant sales experience (both via phone and in-person canvassing), quality internship experience is considered. Licensed Real Estate practitioner with the State of New Jersey (or in process of obtaining). Highly motivated, bringing a high level of energy and initiative to everything you do. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, writing and communication skills. Well organized and with excellent time management skills with a clear history of planning & execution on various projects and initiatives. Desire to advance in the commercial real estate industry. Prior experience using CRM and other supporting software programs. Microsoft Office applications experience (Excel, PowerPoint). Bonus skills and experience Prior knowledge of commercial real estate. GIS familiarity Social Media experience (from a business perspective) What success looks like You will be heavily involved with cold calling and prospecting for new business and following up on leads and opportunities to assist in deals. You will maintain company databases to track prospects and business opportunities. You will bring a great attitude in learning the business and local marketplace by attending local business and industry events, networking, and participating in client meetings. You will go through training to learn the "Colliers Way" of doing business. You will coordinate supporting materials for offer packages and review proposals, leases, and related documents. You will prepare and distribute presentations, reports, proposals, spreadsheets, correspondence, and other documents.
