Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in a dynamic job shop environment. You will be responsible for machining equipment and parts for various clients and projects. This role requires expertise in setting up and operating 4 Axis CNC Lathes, utilizing GCode and Fusion 360, and working with blueprints, 3D drawings, and live tooling.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 4 Axis CNC Lathes using GCode and Fusion 360.

• Follow blueprints, 3D drawings, and live tooling instructions.

• Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measurement tools to ensure accurate machining.

• Perform turning and threading of materials with precision.

• Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines as needed.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of experience setting up, programming, and running CNC Lathes and CNC Mills.

• Proficiency in working with precision measurements such as calipers, micrometers, and tolerances.

• Ability to work with 4 axis machines.

• Experience in GCode programming and Fusion 360.

• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and 3D drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in threading and turning.

• Ability to work independently and manage your own machine.

• Potential to grow into a leadership role within the department.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Parrish, Alabama.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00
