Description We are offering an opportunity for a highly skilled Plant Controller to join our team in Parma, Ohio. This role is integral to our operations within the manufacturing industry, where you will be responsible for providing timely and relevant fiscal reports to plant management, maintaining cost and inventory control systems, and serving as a business partner to the Production Unit manager.

Key responsibilities include:

• Interpreting and implementing financial and accounting policies to create effective operating processes and practices

• Analyzing data to provide financial reports on plant profitability, inventory, and manufacturing cost, including variances to plan

• Preparing monthly analysis of plant performance, identifying variances, and driving action plans for improvement

• Maintaining control systems which track sales, cost of goods sold, manufacturing cost, work in process, inventory, fixed assets, and capital expenditures

• Analyzing and reconciling inventory in transit, variances to purchase prices, and manufacturing expenses

• Assisting plant management with the preparation of capital appropriation requests and the annual plant financial budget as well as quarterly forecasts

• Utilizing various applications with Office 365 and familiarity with ERP (SAP or Epicor)

• Demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process-oriented way of thinking

• Displaying strong attention to detail and professional business acumen

Your expertise in Accounting Functions, Budget Processes, Standard Cost Accounting, Variance Analysis, Cost Analysis, Global Manufacturing, Month End Close, SAP, and Epicor will be essential for success in this role. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in a Plant Controller role or similar position.

• Proficiency in Accounting Functions is required.

• Experience with Budget Processes is essential.

• Expertise in Standard Cost Accounting is necessary.

• Proficiency in Variance Analysis is required.

• Experience in Cost Analysis is necessary.

• Familiarity with Global Manufacturing processes is required.

• Must have experience in Month End Close procedures.

• Knowledge of SAP software is required.

• Proficiency in Epicor software is a must.
