Job Summary
The certified nurse assistant is accountable for providing personal care to the residents including assistance with personal hygiene, bathing, oral care and hair care.
Follows proper procedure in performing medication administration according to policy and procedure.
Performs certain housekeeping duties to maintain a sanitary, orderly and attractive environment.
Education &/or Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Certified as a nursing assistant in the State of South Dakota required within 120 days of starting.
Completion of medication administration training with six months of employment.
Basic Life Support Certification is mandatory within six months of employment.
Work Schedule
Varied Shifts; 56 hours every 2 weeks
7:00 am - 3:30 pm, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, 11:00 pm - 7:30 am
Every other weekend
Every other holiday
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$18.25 - $24.00 per hour
