TheSAP Master Data Analystwill collaborate with internal stakeholders and external SAP resources to facilitate and ensure ongoing operational success. This role involves working closely with business users and cross-functional teams to maintain data integrity, consistency, and efficiency across SAP master data domains and various platforms. Key responsibilities include coordinating, establishing, and maintaining robust master data policies and standards that support business processes, inform decision-making, and enable advanced Business Intelligence and Analytics.
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of agility, industry expertise, and a passion for technology.
Develop and create records within SAP to meet Master Data business requirements.
Assist the Master Data Manager with developing rules for better data consistency and governance and perform maintenance tasks.
Identify master data and its relationship to internal business processes.
Interact regularly with all departments to help facilitate quick and accurate data entry into SAP.
Assist with coordinating communication between stakeholders from various departments to improve the process and communication flow of master data requirements.
Support the creation of templates, documentation, and enhancements for day-to-day master data transactions.
Assist business units with the extraction of data tables and uploads of information.
Identify data misalignments and monitor/troubleshoot discrepancies.
Perform other master data activities as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).
1-3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
1-2 years' experience working with an ERP system, SAP preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, lookups).
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with an eye for detail.
Detail-oriented and organized, capable of tracking changes or additions to data.
Additional experience in Master Data, IT, Business Analyst systems, or supply chain would be desirable.
Worksite:
Location: PIM Brands Global Headquarters, Park Ridge, New Jersey
Work Type: Hybrid - On-site Monday through Thursday, remote on Fridays
Travel: Estimated 10-15% travel to manufacturing locations, trade shows, retailer/broker/customer reviews, etc.
