We are looking for people with experience inIntegrated Marketing and Communications, interested in starting a SWEET career as part of our Marketing team at PIM’s Headquarters in Park Ridge, New Jersey working on a Hybrid schedule. This position will report to our Senior Director of Marketing.

Overview:

This seasoned Director of Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) will help oversee and drive strategic marketing and communications initiatives for our portfolio of best-selling brands including Welch's® Fruit Snacks, Sour Jacks Sour Candies, and more. This role is critical in ensuring consistent, creative, and effective communication across all marketing channels. Reporting into the Senior Director of IMC, you will play a key role in leading the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies, help manage PIM’s in house social team in addition to external agency relationships, and ensure cohesive messaging that elevates brand recognition, drives consumer engagement, and supports growth objectives.

The Director will work cross-functionally with internal teams (brand, creative, digital, and sales) and external partners to ensure our Welch’s® Snacks and Confectionery portfolios continue to innovate and lead in their respective categories. This is a highly visible role requiring a dynamic leader with a passion for brand storytelling, creativity, social and digital media, data-driven insights, and strong leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Marketing Communications Leadership:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive, integrated marketing communications plans to support the growth of priority brands such as Welch's® Fruit Snacks and Sour Jacks Sour Candies.

  • Lead brand storytelling, working closely with brand leads, across traditional, digital, social, and emerging media platforms, ensuring a unified voice and message.

  • Establish KPIs and performance metrics to assess campaign effectiveness, optimizing efforts for maximum impact.

  • In House Social, Agency Partner, and Vendor Management:

  • Oversee relationships with external marketing, creative, and media agencies, ensuring alignment with brand goals, timelines, and budget.

  • Guide agencies in developing breakthrough creative concepts and campaigns that resonate with target audiences.

  • Manage PIM’s in-house social media team

  • Ensure seamless collaboration between internal teams and agency partners to achieve marketing objectives.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with product development, sales, and finance teams to align marketing strategies with business goals.

  • Collaborate closely with brand, digital, and creative marketing teams in addition to sales to ensure campaigns are consistent across all touchpoints.

  • Foster communication with stakeholders to drive alignment on marketing priorities, strategies, and campaigns.

  • Brand and Consumer Insights:

  • Analyze consumer data, market trends, and competitive insights and utilize social listening tools to inform marketing strategies and campaigns.

  • Ensure that all marketing efforts are grounded in a deep understanding of the target consumer and their needs.

  • Budget and Resource Management:

  • Influence management of the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across various channels.

  • Oversee the production of marketing campaign materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality control.

  • Ensure all campaigns are executed within budget and on time.

  • Own management of social media ecosystem, ensuring the right tools, budget, and resources are allocated to drive growth across brands and platforms

  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Own end to end social media reporting, in addition to tracking and analyzing marketing campaign performance, providing regular reports to senior leadership on key metrics, ROI, and strategic recommendations

  • Optimize marketing activities based on performance data and insights to continuously improve campaign results.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • 8-10 years of experience in integrated marketing communications, with a strong focus on CPG brands. Past agency experience strongly preferred.

  • Proven track record in managing agency relationships and overseeing large-scale marketing campaigns.

  • Expertise in social media, digital marketing, and traditional advertising.

  • Deep understanding of influencer and content-related partnerships, spanning from contract negotiations through content creation and partnership performance analysis.

  • Strong leadership, project management, and strategic thinking skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Data-driven mindset with experience using consumer insights and analytics to shape marketing strategies.

    Worksite:

  • The PIM Brands Global Headquarters in Park Ridge, New Jersey

  • HYBRID - The role requires working on-site: Monday thru Thursday. Work from home/remotely on Fridays.

  • Estimated <15% to agencies, manufacturing locations, trade shows, etc.
