Abbott Field Service Manager (F/H) in Paris, France

Our Field Service manager manages and trains field service engineers in the assigned territory (multi-country) who perform on-site and remote services including installation, maintenance and repair. We provide Diagnostics automates for the molecular analyzes to laboratories.

Supports the development of strategies and tactics as well as implements them to ensure understanding and servicing of customer needs whilst providing excellent customer satisfaction. The manager is accountable for service contracts and the achievement of service revenue goals.

People Management

  • Direct management of ail Abbott Molecular Field Service Engineers in the assigned territory

  • lndirectly responsible for Services provided by external service vendors

  • Define Field Service objectives, responsibilities, team goals and ensures goal achievement

  • Direct the allocation of work and coordinates team members to ensure prompt and efficient services to clients

  • Recruitment, training, development and retention of FSEs (Field Service Engineer)

Operations

  • Ensure best in class service delivery in line with customer expectations and divisional guidelines, such as Net Promoter Score (NPS)

  • ln collaboration with the Support Centre, direct the allocation and scheduling of work of the engineering team in the assigned territory

  • Strive for continuous improvement

  • Central point of contact of the commercial and other service teams in the territory. Build and maintain close partnership with the Molecular Division (AMD) Country Managers

  • Support the team and clients taking care of escalated Service queries

Financials

  • Plan and manage Service P&L and corresponding budgets in territory

  • Ensure meeting service financial goals including revenue and margin

  • Support the development of value creation strategies including comprehensive service sales in territory and ensure their implementation

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance of Service team's activities with the applicable Abbott quality standards, policies and procedures regarding safety, confidentiality, HR, Finance, general administration and reporting.

  • Contrais appropriate use of customer service related policies and procedures within area of responsibility.

Reporting

  • Ensure reports of work activity via the various platforms are carried out in a timely manner for own work and team

  • Produce regular and ad-hoc reports for management

Your Profile :

  • Education: University degree or tertiary education on a technical discipline or equivalent relevant working experience

  • Minimum 8 years industry or related relevant experience

  • Preferable 4 years people management experience or equivalent demonstrated experience of project leadership, coordination, or supervision of team tasks.

  • Good knowledge of managing budgets as well as service relevant processes, e.g. spare parts, material flow logistics and complaint handling
