The Role

Proofpoint Security Awareness Training (PSAT) has been recognized by Gartners Magic Quadrant for the 6th consecutive year as the leading software solution for information security awareness and training, helping organizations teach their employees secure behavior and reduce successful phishing attacks and malware infections by up to 90%.

We are seeking a proactive, creative and tenacious Sales Specialist to drive new cyber security business across all vertical markets within France and the Benelux regions. This role will demand interaction with large scale enterprises at the CISO, CSO, Compliance Director as well as HR, L&D functions.

As a PSAT Account Executive, you will provide Sales Specialist opportunity support to Proofpoint Account Managers on specific Security Awareness Training related sales engagements. Teaming with Proofpoint Account Managers, providing deep subject matter expertise and product demonstrations.

Your day-to-day

  • Co-selling with Proofpoint Account Managers to uncover and close opportunities related to the PSAT portfolio.

  • Convert prospects into sales by differentiating from the competition.

  • Deliver strong operational excellence, to include forecast accuracy, SFDC pipeline development, etc.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitive positioning in the marketplace.

  • Managing Sales cycles and influencing buying decisions

  • Demonstrating products and working with a broader team to meet the needs of prospects

What you bring to the team

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding bookings goals.

  • Experience selling to cybersecurity departments and cybersecurity management is preferred.

  • Strong business acumen, to understand the cyber security threat landscape, and become the trusted advisor of the CISO.

  • Capacity to work with channel partners.

  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to clearly and effectively articulate Proofpoint’s value.

  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.

  • Ability to use SFDC, pricing and other on-line tools effectively.

  • Existing relationships within similar markets is strongly preferred.

  • French and English language skills essential
