Job Duties
Propose annual budget for patient transportation needs
Receive, record and respond to feedback from patients and patients’ guests
Coordinate schedules for drivers and patients needing transportation
Recruit and train all newly employed drivers
Develop safety protocol for all drivers to abide by
Conduct reviews with drivers to ensure they continually perform satisfactorily
Ensure all vehicles are safe, clean and legally compliant
Arrange maintenance and repairs on vehicles as necessary
Coach and discipline drivers as necessary
Gather, record and interpret data regarding patient transportation
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify needs and ensure timely delivery of critical items and patient transportation.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and healthcare standards.
Serve as the primary contact for client accounts, delivering exceptional customer service and addressing any issues that arise.
Engage with public transportation companies to advocate for better public transportation options for the patients and work force.
Develop partnerships with other community services and EMS providers to promote our transportation services
Assist with billing-related questions.

Prior experience in customer service or health care preferred
Three or more years of management experience required
Ability to hire and train employees
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or related years of Management experience.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Applications.
