Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 5 years of experience managing, sourcing, or procuring business resources and vendors.

• 5 years of experience coordinating or managing resources for data center locations, and leading operational or project based work and tasks.

Preferred qualifications:

• 5 years of experience coordinating or leading security.

• 4 years of experience managing incidents and crises.

• 2 years of experience with physical security system architecture, components, installation methods, administration, and troubleshooting.

• 2 years of experience with data center technologies, infrastructure, and methodologies.

• Experience planning security operations or strategy for security programs.

As a Google Security Manager, you will participate in security improvement projects and make significant contributions with minimal guidance. You will lead efforts, deliver value-added perspectives, and influence project direction. You will contribute cross-functionally, identify, and recommend multiple creative ways to solve defined problems. In addition, you will engage in community contributions to improve and sustain our culture and operations.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $97,500-$143,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. • Manage the daily operations of vendors providing services including security, training, and risk management for one or multiple cross-functional technical infrastructure locations.

• Act as a single point of escalation for defined security-related incidents having uncertain solutions.

• Drive security work to ensure one or more technical infrastructure locations are in compliance with all regional governmental and regulatory compliance requirements.

• Develop cross-functional strategies to keep operational costs to a minimum, improve efficiency, and maintain an appropriate security posture.

• Perform complex risk assessments and provide feedback to internal design teams for a variety of highly secure facilities.
