We are looking for a Lead, Influencer and Affiliate Marketing to join Snap Inc’s global Small and Medium Customers (SMC) organization. This role will be focused on leveraging partnerships with brands, creators, and affiliate channels to acquire new SMC advertisers. The Lead, Influencer and Affiliate Marketing will be responsible for building and scaling a strategic, always on influencer/affiliate program. The ideal candidate has strong negotiation skills and a proven track record developing mutually beneficial payment structures and incentives.

Success in this role will come from identifying, managing, and measuring partnerships aimed at growing Snap’s SMC advertiser base globally. The ideal candidate is a data-driven marketer who brings directly relevant experience in owning influencer and affiliate partnerships - ideally in the B2B space.

What you’ll do:

  • Define and drive the Snap SMC affiliate strategy, building a pipeline of partners from the ground up

  • Partner with finance and legal to develop payment structures, deal terms, and incentives tailored to each partner and initiative

  • Collaborate with insights, content, creative, and web teams to create bespoke experiences aimed at scaled advertiser acquisition and ROAS

  • Continuously scale influencer pipeline; actively identify, recruit and negotiate new partnerships leveraging your existing relationships and building new ones

  • Analyze campaign performance and adjust outreach and efforts based on ongoing learnings

  • Synthesize performance data and learnings in Weekly/Quarterly Business Reviews for broader XFN team

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience building and managing influencer and affiliate programs, ideally in the B2B space

  • Strong familiarity with affiliate/influencer partner payment models and deal terms

  • General knowledge of paid and organic user/customer acquisition tactics and conversion funnels as well as paid social advertising platforms

  • Ability to synthesize complex data into digestible and actionable insights

  • Comfortable with collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders and confident in communication which influences decision making

  • Able to read between the lines, anticipate the needs of the business, and make proactive suggestions based on those needs

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and comfort with ambiguity

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience

  • 8+ years experience in influencer and affiliate marketing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience or familiarity in working with the media or digital advertising industry

  • Existing affiliate and influencer relationships is a plus

  • Passion for change, Snapchat, and creativity!

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $126,000-$189,000 annually.

Zone B (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $120,000-$179,000 annually.

Zone C (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $107,000-$161,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
