You’ll be responsible for developing infotainment and connectivity software for Fords next infotainment module. You will craft the software architecture and support the general definition of the system.

Key Responsibilities:

· Define the software architecture of the infotainment module.

· Develop, debug, and maintain infotainment and connectivity software

· Optimization of systems for performance and reliability

· Select relevant 3rd party libraries

· Develop customized kernel level and middleware drivers and services

The minimum requirements we seek:

· Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science or related fields

· 3+ years of experience with C, C++, Java or Kotlin

· 1+ years of experience with Automotive Android, Linux or QNX

· 1+ years of experience with Implementation of Bluetooth, WiFi, audio services

Our preferred requirements:

· Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science or related fields

· Implementation of any Projection Feature such as Carplay or Multimedia Framework

· Infotainment software architecture, development lifecycle and system stability

· Hypervisors

· BSP and performance optimization

· Over the air updates and security mechanisms

· Programming interfaces SPI, I2C, UART, USB, SPC and wireless connectivity stacks

· System bring-up and debugging

· Hardware Abstraction Layers (HAL)

· CarPlay and Android auto

· Programming Communication buses: CAN bus, Ethernet, LIN
