Job Description

A large aerospace company is looking for a secret cleared Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team in Palmdale, CA. This Engineer will be responsible for:

• Designing electrical wiring schematics and electrical power systems

• Conducting electrical load analysis, power distribution and energy storage sizing

• Lead other engineers in designing and developing systems and components

• Write requirements, create specs for systems and components

• Writing system checkouts

Skills and Requirements

• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience

• Experience with air vehicle wire harness design such as : ensuring appropriate grounding for harness systems;

determination of connectors, back-shells, wire gauges, required shielding and electro-magnetic interference (EMI) mitigations; impedance matching

• Determination of wire types appropriate for air vehicle environments

• Active secret clearance or higher

• Bachelor's degree or higher null
