Geographic Solutions, Inc. iOS Developer IV in Palm Harbor, Florida

Job Summary: The iOS Developer IV will be responsible for a variety of duties in support of the Company's Virtual OneStop (VOS) mobile software solution. The iOS Developer I will work with other team members in an Agile environment who have responsibility for delivery of new development, maintenance incidents, configuration tasks, setup tasks, responding to customer questions, data change requests, and other duties as assigned by the Team Lead.

Note: All New hires will travel to GSI's headquarters in Palm Harbor, Florida for a week of new hire orientation.

Responsibilities:

  • Requires direct supervision and guidance to perform work
  • Maintain iOS mobile applications
  • Develop iOS applications using Xcode and other Technologies
  • Troubleshoot and debug development and production issues
  • Perform tests to find system/software defects
  • Follow design specs
  • Applying best practices
  • Publishing application on App Store.
  • Creating TestFlight app

Work Experience / Knowledge:

  • Proven, real world work experience in Xcode
  • Experience with performance and memory tuning tools
  • Experience writing and debugging iOS applications
  • Knowledge of code versioning tools such as GIT
  • Experience with Swift custom frameworks
  • Experience with WCF/REST Services and Web API
  • 5-10 years of experience designing and developing iOS native applications
  • Experience with Git and Bitbucket repository
  • Proficiency in MVP/MVVM
  • Work with the Product, UX/UI and Backend teams to do the requirement analysis, design, build and extend consumer and/or partner-facing new products, platforms, and features.

Work Demands:

  • Must deal with deadlines, and a customer base with service level expectations

Qualifications / Certifications:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required
  • A Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems is a plus
