Location: AdventHealth Palm Coast – 60 Memorial Medical Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32164

The role you’ll contribute:

Directs the rehabilitation service line for AdventHealth Palm Coast & AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway. Responsible for identifying, planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring the strategic initiatives to ensure that the program development goals of improving quality care, increasing margins and increasing volumes are achieved. Collaborative interaction with staff, vendors, medical staff, peers, administration, and patients to coordinate services and support departments across the continuum of care. Provides mentorship to the clinical coordinators and managers.

· Assumes leadership role in strategic planning and program development for the rehabilitation product lines. Development of long range plans for growth and Collaborates with associates in development and review of related programs and services.

· Demonstrates the ability to manage fiscal responsibilities.

· Maintains and monitors global information on the overall financial performance. Knowledgeable regarding trends and the utilization of DRGs, ICD-9s, CPT codes, correct coding initiative and medical necessity. Identifies and implements means to reduce costs and / or optimize reimbursement. Develops an operational budget and capital budget. Analyzes data to create variance reports and determining action plans."

· Directs individual departments and projects. Oversees occupational, speech, and physical therapists, therapy manager, and clinical coordinators. Develops expectations for therapy teams and provide mechanism for expectations to be met.

· Demonstrates a leadership role in the rehabilitative service lines. Participates in community activities promoting positive community relations. Participate in his / her professional organization and works collaboratively with the Marketing / Public Relations Department.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

· The minimum requirement is a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Healthcare Management, or Business Administration. Equivalent related experience in management may be considered in lieu of a Master’s Degree.

· Five or more years’ experience in the acute rehabilitation leadership required.

· Florida State Licensure when applicable, is required.

· Must retain a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance, as driving for marketing purposes is a requirement of this position.
