About This Role:

The Carrier North American Residential Solutions strategy team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Strategy and Market Intelligence Analyst. This high visibility role will be responsible for tracking, aggregating, and summarizing applicable market statistics, economic data, and industry trends. Additionally, the successful candidate will collaborate with business unit leadership on special projects and assist in crafting internal and external presentations to communicate key findings and strategic recommendations. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of designated markets and trends through monitoring reports, market research, data manipulation and modeling and analysis

  • Thoroughly and systematically analyze key industry trends; the general social economic and political environment; legal and regulatory issues

  • Provide market insights and reports to senior management and various internal management teams to allow effective strategic and tactical decision-making

  • Assist departmental leadership on evaluating and executing on key strategic projects and departmental goals

  • Coordinate and manage special projects and presentations on a regular basis and serves as a focal point for the organization

  • Support the transformation of the market intelligence team by creating innovative and sustainable digital / automated operations to make data access more simple, efficient, and ubiquitous across the organization

  • Build strong relationships across the business and work with diverse cross functional teams to deliver on market intelligence and strategy projects

  • Provide support and insight into significant organizational changes (e.g. shift in strategic focus, mergers and acquisitions, internal business process improvements)

  • Develop communication plans to relay vision and strategy for winning in the market

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Statistics or Marketing, with a minimum of 5+ years prior work experience in the following areas: economics, accounting, finance, statistics or marketing OR Advanced degree and minimum of 4+ years of experience in the listed areas

  • Minimum 1+ year of experience with developing executive-level communications and presentations

  • 1+ year of advanced knowledge and work in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Effective Communication – Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information clearly and accurately to a variety of audiences both orally and through written material

  • Proven Analytics Skills – Ability to transform data into meaningful and actionable terms

  • Innovative Problem-Solving – Ability to think outside the box, innovate, take risks, and implement progressive, sustainable solutions

  • Delivers Results – Proven ability to execute with speed and exhibit a bias for action mindset

  • Customer Focus – Passion for customers including ability to act quickly, solve problems and exceed expectations

  • Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, or SAS.

  • FP&A or P&L forecasting experience a plus
