Job Description:
The Senior Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for providing a broad range of expert HR services to include: recruitment and succession planning, employee development and training, employee relations, employment law and policy interpretation, compensation administration and employee rewards/recognition, as well as regulatory compliance guidance and HR reporting. This role will also be responsible for HR support and partnership of assigned client groups within the Nestle Health Science USA (NHSc) organization. The Senior HR Generalist will also partner with the Human Resources Director on large volume of HR activities and projects for assigned client groups/all of NHSc aligned to the HR strategic initiatives.
This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate’s geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, New Jersey/Tri-State area, Long Island, New York, Chicago, Illinois and/or within the Palm Beach Gardens, Florida areas.
Responsibilities:
• Works with the Human Resources Director and leaders in the execution of the US organization’s HR strategy to drive higher engagement and enablement of employees, as well as instilling a culture of trust, high performance and application of the vision and principles.
• Executes people plans to support the business strategy.
• Helps Managers enhance their teams and maximize talent by providing expertise in organization design and development, capability building, workforce planning and talent management.
• Acts as an HR advisor to people managers and employees with talent performance, career management, total rewards and recognition, engagement and communication, job profiles and talent selection, learning and training, and employee relations.
• Collaborates with talent management teams in recruitment, new hire processing, posts announcements, job descriptions, diversity recruitment strategies, interviewing candidates and other related tasks. Manage special projects in workforce management, strategic planning, quarterly/monthly people data reports and other ad-hoc works in progress.
• Performs planned/impromptu investigations and audits to ensure and/or maintain EEO/AA/OFCC or Federal/State employment law compliance in practice as it related to hiring, training, transfers, or promotions of people assets.
• Ensures that the Human Resources activities are fully aligned and integrated with corporate objectives and initiatives including, but not limited to, employee relations, performance management, benefits, compensation, employee communications and appreciation events.
• Conducts key meetings and trainings including presentation development to support strategic HR processes.
• Develops and maintain HR resources including process documents, plans, templates and best practices.
• Supports ad hoc requests for HR projects or initiatives as assigned by the HR Director.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, I/O Psychology or inn a related field required.
• 5+ years of full-cycle HR work experience working for a large organization in a fast-paced, complex environment (preferably as an HR Generalist).
• Must possess a thorough understanding of Federal/State employment laws (e.g., EEO, AA, FMLA, ADA, Unemployment Insurance Administration, and Worker’s Compensation).
• Familiarity with HR processes including recruitment, employee relations, employee communications, coaching, HR Analytics and compensation administration, and HR integration required.
• Must have experience in employee relations, workplace investigations, and managing mediation and/or complaints.
• Demonstrated fluency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint) is required.
• Must have excellent communication (oral and written), organizational, time management and stakeholder management skills (including the ability to develop and maintain strong, cross-functional stakeholder relationships).
• Must be detail-oriented, possess excellent presentation and articulation skills and must also be an effective and creative problem solver.
• Willing and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Experience with ATS systems such as SuccessFactors or other systems is desired.
• Willing and able to travel up to and including 20% based on the needs of the team and the business required.
The approximate pay range for this position is $100,000 to $115,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as geographic location.
