Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a RN for a Facial Plastic Surgery Office in Palm Beach Gardens. The office is responsible for full face aging including permanent makeup, aesthetician services, facelifts, rhinoplasty and more. The practice has an in office OR and the RN would be responsible for prepping the patient, circulating the OR and recovering the patient. The RN will be responsible for pre-op charting, ensuring the patient labs are received in a timely manner, prepping the patient on surgery day, post-op appointments and post-op care including order prescriptions for the patient and follow up. The RN will work very closely with the Plastic Surgeon and the Anesthesiologist. Mondays and Fridays are in office days and the RN will assist with removing sutures, removing dressings, addressing pre-op folders and no operations are scheduled these days. Surgeries are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The cases are typically 7-8 hours and there is normally one case scheduled per day. Since the cases are long, the hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays are typically between 6:30AM-4:30PM. The hours on Mondays and Fridays are 9-4. This RN has one additional RN counterpart.

Skills and Requirements

-2-3+ years RN experience

* 5 years would be ideal

* 1-3 years of circulation experience -- within an ambulatory surgical center would be fine

-Surgical experience working within plastics

* Facial and neck is preferred

-Active RN license in the state of FL -- no disciplinary actions/orders and license must show unencumbered

-Proper sterile technique in the OR

-Strong communication, consistent and attention to detail -Scrub Tech experience null
