Job Title:Multi-Disciplined Technician I

Duration: 11+ months

Location:Painted Post, NY

Pay Rate: Up to $26.00/hr (basedon experience)

Work Hours:Shift coverage includes nights and weekends. Average work week will be 40 hrs with the possibility of overtime.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Load/unload of kilns.

  • Startup/monitoring of kilns.

  • 1st level troubleshooting of equipment/process issues.

  • Conducts routine preventive maintenance activities.

  • Maintain, adhere, and train to documentation.

  • Maintain emphasis on housekeeping and safe work practices in kiln area.

Education and ExperienceRequirements:

  • 2-year degree required; technical degree preferred

  • Follows documented procedures.

  • Refers atypical or complex problems to others.

  • Works well under limited supervision.

  • Able to perform duties within prescribed timeframes and maintain confidentiality.

  • Contacts are primarily within the immediate work group.
