Position Summary

To administer, analyze, and appraise the care given to patients within the acute hospital 24/7 in the absence of the administrative director/manager. To advise the Department Director regarding the status of patient care, budgetary projections, quality improvement processes. to anticipate and estimate future needs of the Department to improve the quality of patient care, to meet physician, staff and patient needs. To collaborate and coordinate the efforts of the staff of the Department to accomplish the mission of Lourdes. The Supervisor has the responsibility for meeting patient care needs throughout his/her department in accordance with the hospital's mission and core values. The Supervisor abides by all federal, state and local regulations, which affect his/her profession, education and /or patient care. Supports the delivery of high quality, cost effective patient care through activities based on facility strategic goals and objectives. Ensures the continuity of care is maintained 24/7 to represent the mission of the organization.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Licensure: Current KY RN license

Certification(s):BLS, PALS, ACLS

Experience: RN With minimum 3 years experience, preferably with CN or other leadership experience
