Job Description Summary

This role to deliver the Systemic & operational customer Quality topics to ensure the highest customer satisfaction and improve the NPS.

Focused on daily routine deliverables on customer quality KPI (Net Promoter Score (NPS), Say/DO ratio (SDR), Customer Defect rate (CDR), Cost of Quality, 8D), customer RCA, Cost effective resolutions, Monitor E&C Quality & Continuous improvement, Field milestone process audits & analysis and customer meetings/field visits.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Post sales operations – Customer complaints & Issue resolution

  • Measures, analyses and reports customer Quality KPI’s (ACT, CDR & SDR, Filed FPY - HV/PD, NCP, CoPQ, FIP, ECN’s)

  • Customer satisfaction by timely resolutions and cost effective

  • Product failure analysis and report for product/process improvement

  • Establish and ensure the implementation of the GE Quality Plan and customer Field (Project) Quality plan

  • Define and ensure the E&C quality gate reviews/audit at Project stagewise, monitor corrective actions

  • Manage project NCP, perform root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA implementation and lead other quality related engagements.

  • Drive the implementation of the Quality Strategy to optimize the use of resources consistent with the overall targets and establish objectives.

  • Coordinate the delivery of the Quality Contractual Documentation to meet the project timeline.

  • Ensure that Return of Experience (RoE) of similar projects are converted into documentation and communicate to CFT

  • Continuous Improvement mind set to recommend, request and implement actions for improvement to prevent non-conformities and improve process performance based on site audits.

  • To have systematic control on the project tools & tackles, test equipment’s health check by periodic audit and calibrations.

  • Liaising with external parties customers, suppliers and subcontractors on matters related to customer Quality.

  • Team work – work as a member of project team.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate Engineer certificate in the discipline Electrical or mechanical

  • More than 10 years of experience in Quality

  • Exposure to Field audits, ISO 9001/ISO 14001/OHSAS 18000

  • Knowledge of PFMEA, Six Sigma

  • Knowledge of Problem-Solving Methodologies and Tools

  • Customer focused

  • Excellent liaison attitude

  • Exposure or expertise in HV/EHV Power generation / Transmission / Distribution industry switchgear ( advantage SF6 products) voltage up to 800KV products

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
