Job Description Summary
Primarily in Custodial Services/Recreational Facilities, performs a variety of custodial tasks related to maintaining the University's buildings, facilities, and grounds. Hours for this position are 4:00 pm-12:00 am, Wednesday through Sunday, with days off being Monday and Tuesday.
Job Description
Essential Duties:
- Sweeps and mops rooms and hallways; dusts and performs general cleaning of rooms.
- Picks up trash and/or litter from University buildings and grounds; empties trash receptacles.
- May clean windows.
- May vacuum and shampoo carpets; may strip and wax floors.
- Cleans and sanitizes restrooms.
- May mow, trim, and rake grounds; may remove shrubs and trees.
- May sow grass and renovate turf areas; may apply herbicides to lawn.
- May pick up and/or deliver equipment and supplies.
May perform cleaning/washing duties in dining hall dish room or pot and pan area.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires a high school diploma or GED. No experience required. May require driver's license.
This position requires the ability to successfully pass a Post-Offer Pre-Employment (POPES) physical.
