Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent teamwork abilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Project Engineer

Location: Oxford, NC

Pay Range: $57 per hour

What's the Job?

• Assist in the evaluation and development of capital packages related to design, procurement, and installation.

• Develop initial designs and layouts for assigned projects and expand them into detailed plans and drawings.

• Support project managers to deliver installations safely, on time, and within budget.

• Analyze project requirements and perform technical calculations to support design.

• Ensure efficient transfer of projects to the operations team, including all necessary documentation and training support.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar engineering field.

• 3+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.

• Practical knowledge of piping system design and its application in continuous process manufacturing.

• Ability to read and interpret various engineering drawings.

• Experience with AutoCAD and MS Project.
