PrimaryFunction:.

Learn and understand the proper sequences and techniques in the plating process. Be responsible for assigned step(s) in the process, report any problems to Management. Use and be able to read micrometers, c-micrometers, and bore gauges. Plate parts to the specifications called for on "Travelers". Be familiar with the company computer system, knowing how to"clock" parts to locations and document the required paperwork.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understand how to read and interpret various blueprints
• Ability to read and use precision measuring instruments.
• Develop a clear ability to review various customer procedures for routing conformance.
• Capability of identifying basic metal types. Effectively demonstrate the ability to prepare plating surfaces of all parts.
• Effectively demonstrate the ability to paint all parts.
• Effectively demonstrate the ability to tape all parts.
• Effectively demonstrate the ability to rack all parts.
• Effectively demonstrate the ability to grit blast parts.
• Understand the temperature ranges that various plating solutions should run.
• Plate parts to the specifications called for on "Travelers".

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Use proper hearing, eye, hand and foot protection as required. Check to ensure parts are placed in tanks with correct polarity.
• Have knowledge and understanding of the ISO Quality Policy. Have knowledge and understanding of the Control of Non-conforming product. Have knowledge and understanding of the ISO Procedures that apply to your specific area(s).
• Develop a clear ability to review various customer procedures for routing conformance.
• Be capable of identifying basic metal types.
• Efficiently demonstrate the ability to prepare plating surfaces of all parts.
• Effectively demonstrate the ability to paint all parts.
• Convey the ability to tape all parts.
• Successfully demonstrate the ability to rack all parts.
• Establish the ability to grit blast parts.
• Understand the temperature ranges that various plating solutions should run.
